Morning Must Have

STRETCH! If I have time I do a quick 15 min morning yoga (in between meeting the endless demands of a 3 year old) at the very least I will have a quick stretch

3pm Slump Solution

Switch tasks. If you’re brain is feeling fried them switch to a different task, something that requires less brain power but still needs doing.

Selfcare Hack

my bedtime routine is solid; I put my phone down and I don’t look at it, I wash my face and do my skincare routine. I then write down everything I am grateful for that day, read a few pages of my book, take CBD and pull down my eye mask.

Morning Must Have

A huge mug of peppermint tea!

3pm Slump Solution

A walk with my miniature sausage dog Ralph – a bit of fresh air (and hopefully some sunshine) can really help me to refocus!

Selfcare Hack

Celebrating the little things – I like to make note of all the ‘tiny wins’ in the day, it helps me to stay positive and motivated!

Morning must have

Fresh air! I have to get out in the morning, even if it is pouring down (after all, we are waterproof!) I find that getting out in nature helps me to feel grounded, energised and ready for the day.

3pm slump solution

Star jumps. I’m not even joking. When I start getting that heavy eyed can’t focus feeling I do 20 star jumps. Gets the blood pumping and certainly wakes me up.

Selfcare Hack

I leave my phone in another room in the evenings and give myself a few hours off checking Insta and my emails. I catch up with them in the morning. The world can wait but RuPaul can’t.

Morning must have

For me it’s a cuddle with my doggy Jess! Can’t function without my puppy love (or 13yr old puppy snugs)

3pm slump solution

I’m not impartial to a cheeky Diet Coke – or at least something with fizzy bubbles! Or a Facetime with my Twin Imogen – she always knows how to perk me up.

Selfcare Hack

My top selfcare hack is… stop washing your hair everyday! I am a once a week kinda gal (if that) and the health and strength of my hair is honestly second to none (I defo think its my best feature)…also leave any colouring or cutting to the professionals…we’ve all made the mistake of cutting our fringe too short and looking like Jim Carey in Dumb and Dumber.

Morning must have

Coffee definitely. I need caffeine to get me going in the morning!

3pm slump solution

Have a stretch and go for a walk around the office and drink a glass of water. This little break always helps me feel a little more relaxed and focused.

Selfcare Hack

Going for a long walk along the beach or going for a run with music playing through my headphones is my selfcare hack. It massively helps my mental health by having a break and time to myself. It also makes me feel much happier and healthier getting out in the fresh air and exercising.

Morning must have

My morning ritual consists of a large bowl of cereal and a quick dose of coffee! However, my favourite start to any day is taking a scenic drive and making a poor attempt at singing along to some of my favourite music.

3pm slump solution

Instead of adding extra caffeine to my diet, I do the opposite – I crave a long walk, catch up with the latest music trends and take a step away from the screen. You’ll be surprised what a difference a short walk can make to your day.

Selfcare Hack

Besides the 2-week gap between haircuts, my self-care hack is simple but crucial… some me time. I like to turn off all thing’s internet, walk and appreciate the smaller things in life. It boosts my overall mood, calms my mind, and allows me to look back on what can sometimes be a tough day.
